MARVELLOUS MEASURING MATHEMATICIANS

In Room 3 maths group we have been exploring using different measuring tools. We used stopwatches to measure the time it took to do various activities, we used trundle wheels to measure how long various distances were, we used cylinders to measure the capacity of different containers to hold liquids and we used balance scales and weights to calculate how heavy things were. It was a lot of fun, but reading the scales was quite tricky.
